Space

Hi Everyone!

We have some more features to announce, mainly space travel and combat. Eventually, you will be able to use spaceships in order to access space. Once there, you can take out bases belonging to other factions, and set up satellites that can target ground areas with ion cannons, missiles and more.

Also, you can collect different types of items and engage in space combat. Your satellites will help you by locking on to other ships. You can even voyage to other planets and complete more missions. A whole new world is available to those who own a spaceship. They can all be created or bought. The ones you create have better stats than the buyable ones. However, you have to build a Spaceship Assembly Workshop that will allow one to build a ship from the necessary components

Ha'dith & New Skyreach City

Skyreach is the name for a large city built on the ground by the Ha'dith as a permanent home and capital of economics, socioeconomics, architecture, education, and military technology. It was built in a crater, but was bombed with a nuke by the Overmind. About half of the city was destroyed, while the other sunk into the bog, full of mutated civilians fighting for survival. It has become an abominable waste land, very similar to what Rapture (BioShock 1 and 2) looks like, except without all of the Art Deco architecture. Now it's filled with collapsed tunnel sections, monsters, and a steam abomination that has lain dormant for years.
Getting back to the point, after the nuking, New Skyreach, a steam powered hovering city was constructed and launched up into the atmosphere, where it currently floats. Though it is unable to move because its lift fan cannot swivel and its minor lift fans are only to provide stability, it has extra steam jets for the purpose of evading another onslaught of explosives. Plated with heavy-duty cannons and metal walls, this incredible city is one that will not easily be destroyed!!

Correction

Hey everyone,

I wanted to just make a little correction. Our game is not a RTS/FPS as the description would have you believe. It actually is a MMORPG with some tactical elements. Please ignore the description, as it is incorrect.

In other news, we are currently working on animation and a zone named Loch Verdain, a Ha'dith starting zone. We hope to have some pictures up soon, but in the meantime we want to give you a progress update. We have the GUI ready, and have friending, gifting, chats,unit and vehicle dynamics, cratering, explosions and other stuff ready for implementation. All we have to do now is create the Ha'dith and Loch Verdain and we're ready.

Classes and Racial Abilities

Every race will have a set of unique classes, each with their own special abilities, and every race will have an overarching Racial Ability. Here is a tentative list of classes and abilities. If you have any ideas for name changes, abilities, or new classes, post them in comments,or email us at pallasvproject@gmail.com.

Humans- Expert Marksman: +15 gun damage, Technologically Advanced: +10 inteligence
Soldier- All rounder
Commando- Stealth ,good mix of ranged and melee, cannot use heavy weapons
Marine- Stealth, +10 melee damage
Sniper- Stealth, +15 ranged damage
Tanker- Cheaper land vehicles, +10 strength
Armorer- Every thing is cheaper, more effective equipment

Ha'dith- Tinker: Vehicles auto-repair. Engineering: Can salvage parts from vehicles, planes, and wrecks
Steam Engineer- Can repair vehicles, erect prefab defenses
Musketeer- Cheaper ranged weapons, less chance of gunpowder weapons exploding
Flayer- Cheaper melee weapons, lower chance of blade snap
Kun'tar- Assassin, stealth, good with bows, knives
Bounty Hunter: Gets money for kills, the better the monster the more the money.
Heavy Weapons Specialist- Cheaper vehicles, larger weapons access, +10 strength

Sla'di- Tough Skin: +10 Armor, Sharp Claws: Crawl up walls
Eagle Warrior- +10 melee damage, cheaper melee weapons
Plumed Archer- +20 ranged damage, cheaper ranged weapons
Electrum Slicer- +10 electrocution damage, lower chance of electrocution
Settler- Can erect prefab defenses
Priest- Uses magic to create spells that cause damage.

Baha'roth- Glide: Can glide for a certain amount of time before Fervor: +20 charisma
Conquistador- All rounder, Chain Mail only
Monk- Healer, can sprint, Aura of Divinity: all allied units in range times 3 damage
Rouge- Stealth, + 15 damage with knives
Woodsman- +15 ranged combat, stealth
Bandit- Everything cheaper, Salvage: steal parts from broken vehicles
Paladin- High HP, Plate Mail, +10 strength bonus, heal abilities, Aura of Divinity (see monk)

Armor/Weapon contest

Classes

There will be four races in the game, the humans, the Ha'dith, the Ba'harroth, and the Slaad'i. The Ha'dith and the Ba'harroth are similar species, but different factions. The Ha'dith are a steampunk faction, and they have airships, the only faction other than the humans that have air units. The Ba'harroth are a centaur-like race, and they are modeled after the Knights Templar. They have no air units or tanks, but they have powerful artillery and siege engines. The Slaad'i have footsoldiers, archers, siege weapons and naval units, and are a lizardlike race. The humans are composed of a joint U.N. task force operating out of the USST Roosevelt.
